Milton Hershey Indoor Groups Going Strong 04-09-2009
The 2009 Indoor season is going strong, and both the Indoor Drumline and Color Guard from the Milton Hershey School are performing well thus far.
The Color Guard is performing their show to "Bachanlle" from Sampson and Delilah by Saint-Saens. With rich Purples and Golds and a huge finale, this show is one worth remembering.
The Drumline on the other hand is taking a lighter approach with their shoe "Rhapsody". They explore the musical meaning of a Rhapsody, using 3 distinctly different pieces, from 3 different eras, with music by Gershwin, Liszt and Queen. With plenty of light hearted moments against the backdrop of some difficult musical moments, this is one fun show to watch.
Both groups are on spring break for the next two weekends, but you can see them both at Chapter VI Championships at Lebanon High School, in Lebanon, PA on April 25th. Show begins at noon. See http://www.njatob.org for more information.
Hope to see you there.
