Background

Cameron Willey is well known in the Central Maryland area for his work within Marching Percussion arena.

Cameron' primary focus is as a member of the Design and Instructional Staff of Baltimore's Marching Ravens. He serves as the Percussion Director and Percussion Arranger as well as contributing to music selection and show design

He has worked with the Parkside Marching Rams in Salisbury, MD for the past 14 yrs, serving as Percussion Arranger and Instructor and as a Visual Consultant in the fall and Director of the Percussion Ensemble in the spring.

In 2005, Cameron came on board with the Spartan Band from The Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA., as an Assistant Percussion Instructor for both the fall marching band as well as the Indoor Percussion Ensemble, which competes in the Tournament of Bands Indoor Circuit.

Starting in 2009, Cameron and fellow percussionists Joseph Kallsh and Gene Bennett III teamed up to create Chesapeake Indoor, a WGI level indoor drumline, planning on debuting in the 2010 Indoor season

Outside of the music arena, Cameron works as a LAN Adminsitrator for the Institute for Policy Studies at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.

Education

Cameron attended Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD where he recieved a Bachelor of Arts in Music as well as a Minor in Business Administration. He has since furthered his education through technical certifications as an MCP and is currently pursuing both his MCSA and MCSE.
